Rachel

RachelRACHEL is director of development for Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, a position she came to from the Illinois Conference of Seventh -day Adventists where she was development director and associate trust services director for the state headquarters of the church.  Prior to that she was communication and development director for the Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.  Her primary responsibility there was to raise funds for Holbrook Indian School (HIS), Holbrook, Arizona, and a scholarship fund. 

Several years ago Rachel received a major gift for Holbrook Indian School, a brand new girls' dormitory, from the children of the founders of McKee Foods Corporation, the largest snack cake company in North America, makers of Little Debbie Snack Cakes. rachel_mom_sisters

For over 35 years Rachel has worked for the Seventh-day Adventist Church as receptionist, secretary, personnel assistant , personnel director, and hospital administrator. Rachel is a licensed nursing home administrator. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Governors State University in 1993.  In 1999, she received certification as a specialist in planned giving (CSPG) from California State University, Long Beach, and in 2000 certification from the Adventist Church as a trust services representative.  In 2002 she passed the exam by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), receiving status as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

Rachel's hobbies include photography, computer animation, sewing, and drawing, and Randy!
